Calculator access and email confirmation
When you request access to the Financial Goal Reality Check, we collect your email address and send it to Brevo, our email service provider. Brevo uses double opt-in: you must click the confirmation link before calculator access is provided. We also retain delivery, confirmation, bounce, complaint and unsubscribe records needed to operate and protect the service.
Optional marketing
The form includes a separate, optional marketing checkbox. It is unticked by default. If you select it, Investor Tool Lab may send occasional emails about investing tools, platform research and calculator updates. Calculator access does not depend on agreeing to optional marketing. You can withdraw that permission at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email.
Your financial information
Financial information and figures entered into the calculator and its planners stay in your browser. They are not included in the Brevo form and are not sent to Brevo or Investor Tool Lab. Optional planner saving uses storage in your browser on that device.
Technical information
Our hosting provider and Brevo may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, submission time and security logs for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention. The form includes a hidden anti-spam field.
Retention and your choices
We retain access and consent records while needed to provide the service, meet legitimate record-keeping needs and honour unsubscribe or suppression requests. You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing hello@investortoollab.com. Some minimal suppression information may be retained so we do not send further marketing after you unsubscribe.
Cookies and browser storage
Investor Tool Lab does not intentionally place advertising cookies on the initial site. The calculator stores access status and any planner details you explicitly save in your browser. External websites and future affiliate links have their own privacy practices.
